The St. Louis arc was thrilled to partner with Deloitte LLP for the firm’s 11th annual IMPACT day on Friday, June 11. IMPACT Day is a one-day celebration of Deloitte’s longtime commitment to community involvement and workplace volunteerism. More than 150 Deloitte St. Louis employees volunteered their time and talent to local charities and non-profits. The Deloitte volunteer army had five IMPACT Day projects planned, including a softball tournament and lunch for those supported by the St. Louis Arc.
Nearly 200 people, including volunteers and Arc participants, took part in the tournament which was held at McDonnell Park in St. Ann. Deloitte volunteers teamed up with Arc participants throughout the day for the games and the lunch afterwards. It was a great chance for the volunteers to get to know all about the St. Louis Arc’s mission and the people we support.
