Sunny weather, a beautiful course and a great cause brought out more than 200 golfers on May 21, 2007 for the St. Louis Arc’s 17th Annual Golf Tournament. Golfers from 50 different companies teed off at The Country Club of St. Albans, thanks to the dedication of tournament co-chairmen Irl Engelhardt (chairman of Peabody Energy), Ron Kruszewski (chairman, president and CEO of Stifel Nicolaus), Michael Neidorff (chairman and CEO of Centene Corporation), and W. Michael Ross (Midwest regional president of Regions Bank).
First place on the St. Albans Tavern Creek Course went to a team from Peabody Energy, while a Regions Bank team took first on the club’s Lewis & Clark Course. The grand prize golfer’s getaway for two to Scotland went to lucky golfer Tim Boyle of Edward Jones.
