Hundreds of St. Louis Arc families joined in the fun at this year’s “Arc in the Park” picnic in October. More than 500 people attended the event in Creve Coeur Park that featured circus-style fun and a barbeque feast.
Picnic goers were entertained with performances by the Arc’s North County CI Drama Troupe, Probley So!, a band made up of Dautel Circle residents. Sir Uppy the Clown of St. Louis Clowns of America, and Magician Larry Minth amazed a crowd of all ages.
Long-time sponsor Fitz’s Bottling Company donated root beer and North Star Ice Cream provided ice cream for root beer floats. Other beverages were donated by Dierberg’s.
Many volunteers contributed to the day’s activities including those from Rubin Brown LLP, Sigma Delta Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha International, and the St. Louis Arc Family Organization, which co-sponsored the event. Special thanks to Volunteer John Meixner and his BBQ crew. Look for more details on Arc’s special events at
